BIO

I am a native Californian raised in Woodside, California where the arts and culture of Stanford University were readily available to me.

My days of flower arranging began at age six, and continued into the late 80’s. I opened my first flower shop, “Posey’s On Post”, in San Francisco in 1989, and it was here that I started with floral design and oil painting. The oils were an artistic extension of the flowers.

“I have always had an artistic nature to explore and develop what my eyes envisioned. Colors and brilliant vibrant subjects are my thrill”. I slowly turned my passion of the arts toward photography and in 1995 I embarked on a new adventure with my digital camera. I have shown my work at several competitions in the past few years and received top honors. To accommodate my growing passion of photography I have redesigned my home into a small studio in Petaluma, where my work can be seen by appointment.

I am presently account representative and staff photographer for the TravelHost Magazine, a Sonoma County bi-monthly publication with National affiliation.

When I am not behind the lens I volunteer for non-profit organizations, and still true to my first passion, flower arranging.

“I love the dramatic Sonoma Coastline as an
impressive locale for dynamic images”.
